Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum

The Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum is a National Shrine to the Sultan of Swat and has been welcoming baseball fans to the house where Babe Ruth was born since 1974. The Museum offers fans an up-close portrait of baseball’s greatest star. Through rare artifacts and photographic, audio, and video highlights, visitors will recall the life and career of Baltimore’s most famous baseball son.

The Museum also serves as the official Museum of the Baltimore Orioles and houses archives for regional baseball and the Baltimore Colts. In addition, the Museum offers innovative exhibits and educational programs on local and national baseball, the Negro Leagues in Maryland, ballpark architecture and sports journalism.

The Sports Legends Museum is a 22,000 sq. ft. facility in a historical train station dedicated to the history of Maryland sports.
