National Italian-Canadian Sports Hall of Fame (NIASHOF)

The National Italian-Canadian Sports Hall of Fame (NIASHOF) would be an institution dedicated to uncovering, preserving & promoting Italian-Canadian sport heritage.

NIASHOF would celebrate Italian-Canadians who have reached the pinnacle in their respective sports and whose accomplishments have impacted Canadian society positively.

The Hall would induct worthy candidates annually, likely in the categories of athlete, coach, builder and media. These honoured members would ideally be feted with a gala event.

Special tribute would be given to ‘homegrown sport heroes’ whose legacies have touched their local communities.

By its existence and activities, the NCISHOF would hope to educate and inspire future generations.
