CambridgeSeven is happy to announce the completion of Phase One of the expansion of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Museum expansion will unfold in three phases that culminate in a grand re-opening in June of 2020. The work entails both architectural modifications throughout the building, as well as a full redesign of the visitor exhibit experience. In the recently-completed Phase I, visitors are launched on a sports museum experience like none other through the dynamic new Tip-Off Pavilion exhibit in the main lobby celebrating stars of the game with unique, interactive lockers and the exciting, updated Nike Theatre featuring an energetic, signature film about the history and impact of the game. Phases Two and Three will focus on the balance of the Hall with a series of galleries that include interactives, artifacts, media and stories about great moments, players, coaches and fans of the game.
