Bob Kisken is a retired teacher from Ann Arbor, Mich., that does ranch, farm and rodeo photography as a hobby. He recently donated his photo collection to the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs. The collection includes 40 clown photographs and a total of 317 rodeo shots.
The museum is displaying many of the images in an exhibit that will remain open through September. It’s opening in July coincided with the induction of five new members into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, including four-time PRCA Bullfighter of the Year Joe Baumgartner. He was joined by world champion steer roper John Bowman, world champion bareback rider Chuck Logue, world champion saddle bronc rider Kenny McClean and Rex “Bud” Kerby, whose family operated Bar T Rodeo Company and supplied stock for the NFR virtually every year since 1960. The post-conference activity at this year’s ISHA conference in Denver features a visit to the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. Log onto sportsheritage.org.
